After Six Years, Man Booked For Abetment To Neighbour’s Suicide In Indore
The deceased also left a suicide note mentioning how he was tormented by the accused, leading him to take the drastic step.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): After six long years, the police have finally registered a case against a man for abetting his neighbour’s suicide in the Hiranagar area here.
The accused had mentally harassed the victim after frequently dumping garbage outside his house and falsely accusing him of various wrongdoings.
The deceased also left a suicide note mentioning how he was tormented by the accused, leading him to take the drastic step.
On July 21, 2019, Shankarlal Jhinwal (44), a resident of Bajrang Nagar, ended his life by hanging himself in his house.
At that time, the Hiranagar police had registered an unnatural death but no further action was taken. Now, following a court complaint filed by the deceased’s sister, the police have registered a case against neighbour Ramavatar Dhamne for abetment to suicide, under section 306 of the IPC.
According to the police, Ramavatar had been harassing Shankarlal for a long time, frequently dumping garbage outside his house and making false accusations against him.. Unable to bear the harassment, Shankarlal ended his life.
