Hyderabad: Train services between Bengaluru and Hyderabad were disrupted after a woman, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, drove her car onto the railway tracks near Shankarpally on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The bizarre and dangerous act, captured on video, triggered panic among railway staff and compelled the authorities to halt train movement in order to avoid a possible tragedy.
According to reports, the woman drove along the track from Shakarpally towards Hyderabad, refusing to stop despite receiving multiple warnings from railway personnel. Staff gave chase on foot as she continued to drive erratically. The car eventually veered off the tracks and crashed into a cluster of trees, leaving the windows shattered.

Police Take Immediate Action
The Railway police acted immediately, rescuing the woman from the damaged vehicle and took her into custody. According to the officials, she appeared intoxicated at the time of the incident. Although no passengers or railway staff were injured in the incident, the situation caused considerable panic.
The viral footage of the incident, now circulating widely on social media, shows the car dangerously navigating the metal tracks while railway staff attempt to intervene.
Railway authorities also suspended train services on the route to ensure everyone's safety. Trains travelling between Bengaluru and Hyderabad were reportedly delayed, with operations temporarily halted until the tracks were declared clear.
