A video showing a father risking his minor daughter's life to create a social media reel has gone viral. The footage depicts the man forcing his terrified daughter to sit on an iron angle above the raging waters of Bandh Baraitha Dam in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday, 5th July, at Bandh Baraitha, located within the jurisdiction of Rudawal Police Station.
The man was later identified as Uma Shankar, a local resident who had taken his wife and daughter to see the overflowing dam. The video shows Uma Shankar's wife smiling while he makes his daughter to sit on the box.
Shankar allegedly compelled his daughter to sit on a box placed precariously on an angle as she resisted, putting her life in grave danger. Fortunately, no mishap occurred.
