Lucknow: Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' has raised concerns about bureaucratic operations, specifically questioning the procurement of tablets instead of smartphones for distribution. His letter also highlighted alleged issues with modifications to LIDA's master plan and a subsidy provided to Fuji Silvertech company under the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy.
The department clarified that all amendments were made following due process and on the recommendation of top level authorities. They added that the proposals have been sent to the Cabinet for approval and will only be implemented after ministerial consent.
