UP: Man’s Private Parts Mutilated By Girlfriend’s Family After Being Caught In Compromising Position In Gorakhpur

A 25-year-old man was seriously injured when his girlfriend's family members allegedly attempted to mutilate his genitals with a razor blade in Gorakhpur's Gulriha area on Tuesday night.

According to reports, the victim, who had been in a five-year relationship with a woman from a different community, was found in a compromising position when he visited her home. The attack reportedly resulted in partial injury to his genitals.

"The youth claims that the girl called him to her house, where the attack took place," said Jitendra Kumar Singh, Station In-Charge of Gulriha Police Station.

Police officials believe the incident may have been premeditated. The girl's family had previously warned the young man to end the relationship, but he continued to secretly visit her home.

"It appears the family, particularly the girl's brother, had been planning this for some time. The girl might have been pressured by her family to lure him to the house," added Singh.

The victim is currently receiving treatment at the trauma center of the local medical college, where doctors describe his condition as stable.
