Telangana Shocker: 21 Dogs With Their Legs & Mouths Tied 'Thrown' To Death From 40-Ft High Bridge In Sangareddy
According to reports, the animal welfare organization 'Citizens for Animals' was alerted about distressed cries coming from underneath the bridge on January 4.

In a horrific incident, 21 dogs were killed after they were allegedly dumped from a 40-ft high bridge by unidentified individuals in Sangareddy's Eddumailaram village in Telangana. The shocking incident came to light on Saturday.
As per reports, another 11 dogs are fighting for their lives after being thrown from the bridge. Acting on a complaint from animal rights activists, the Indrakaran police registered a case against unidentified suspects and have launched an investigation into the matter.
The preliminary investigation by police reveals that the dogs, found in critical condition under the bridge, may have been thrown off the bridge, reported TOI.
"Investigation is underway to gather more details about the incident from residents in the vicinity and also track down the culprits. The remains of the deceased dogs have been sent for a post-mortem examination to gather further evidence," TOI quoted an Indrakaran police station official as saying.

Upon arriving at the spot, volunteers witnessed a distressing scene. "The surviving dogs were found among the decomposing bodies of their deceased companions, some of which were infested with maggots. A few carcasses were floating in stagnant water, indicating the animals were abandoned for an extended period," a volunteer told TOI.
