Telangana Horror! Drunk Father Beats 14-Year-Old Son To Death For Coming Late From School
Fearing legal consequences, the family chose not to report the incident to the police. The accused even threatened his wife, warning her not to disclose the truth.
In a shocking incident, a drunk father beat his son to death for coming home late from school in Telangana's Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.
Katta Saidulu and his wife, residents of Aregudem village in Choutuppal Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, worked as agricultural laborers. Despite their financial struggles, they aspired to provide a good education for their three children and enrolled them in private schools beyond their means. Unfortunately, Saidulu had become addicted to alcohol and frequently harassed his family.
His younger son, Bhanu (14), was a ninth-grade student at Ann Memorial School in Choutuppal. On Saturday, February 8, Bhanu attended a farewell party at his school and returned home late at night. Enraged and intoxicated, Saidulu severely beat him. The blows to Bhanu’s chest were so intense that he lost consciousness. Panicked family members rushed him to Choutuppal Government Hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had already passed away.
Fearing legal consequences, the family chose not to report the incident to the police. Saidulu even threatened his wife, warning her not to disclose the truth, as per reports. The family attempted to conduct Bhanu’s funeral secretly at dawn. However, villagers informed the police, who intervened and halted the last rites, leading to a confrontation between the authorities and the family.
After an investigation, the police confirmed that Saidulu was responsible for his son’s death. Bhanu’s body was sent for post-mortem at Choutuppal Government Hospital. The incident has sparked outrage among the villagers, who condemned the father’s actions and the devastating effects of alcohol abuse. The police have registered a case and initiated further investigations.
