Stunts Turn Fatal! 2 Bikers Killed In Head-On Collision On Delhi–Dehradun Expressway in UP’s Ghaziabad; Video

Ghaziabad: Two bikers lost their lives in a head-on collision while performing stunts on the under-construction Delhi–Dehradun Expressway in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Wednesday, August 13. The moment of the crash was captured on camera, and its video soon went viral on social media.

The deceased have been identified as Subodh and Rohit. Meanwhile, a third person was reportedly injured in the collision. In the viral video, it could be seen that one of the men was riding a bike in a standing position on the expressway. The incident took place in Ghaziabad’s Loni area.

However, his bike collided with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. In the head-on collision, one of the bikers died on the spot, while the other succumbed to injuries later. The injured person has been identified as  Sanjay Sharma, according to India Today.

The biker, who was riding his motorcycle in the standing position, was without a helmet. However, it is not clear from the video whether the other biker was wearing a helmet. Notably, the highway has not been opened to the public so far.

The police launched a detailed investigation into the matter.

In July this year, a accident occurred during the Sawan fair at the Panchmukhi Shiva Temple premises in Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj, causing panic among locals. A young man performing stunts inside the 'Well of Death' (Maut Ka Kuan) lost his balance and fell from his bike mid-performance.

Surprisingly, despite the fall, the motorcycle continued circling the well’s vertical walls at high speed without a driver for nearly an hour. A video of the dramatic incident has surfaced online
