Shocking Video: Youth Narrowly Escapes Death As Bus Rams Into Him At Idukki Bus Depot In Kerala

A youth sitting on a bench at the Kattappana new bus terminal in Kerala’s Idukki narrowly escaped death as an out-of-control bus rammed into him on Monday.

As per reports, the incident occurred when Vishnu, a resident of Kumily, was seated on a bench at the depot. A private bus named Diyamol, operating on the Munnar-Kattappana route, unexpectedly surged forward while attempting to park nearby. A reported gear failure caused the vehicle to dash out of control, crashing dangerously close to where Vishnu was sitting. 

CCTV footage of the incident, which has since gone viral, shows the moment when the bus came within inches of hitting Vishnu. Though he sustained minor injuries, he was quickly taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the mechanical failure.
