In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district, a wife allegedly got her husband killed after the latter decided to gift his sister a TV and a gold ring on the sister's wedding.

The victim has been identified as Chandra Prakash Mishra. According to reports, the wife of Chandra Prakash Mishra, Chabi, was furious with her husband planning to gift his sister a TV and a gold ring. The marriage of the sister was scheduled on April 26.

Shocking Details

According to reports, the brother and relatives of the victim's wife thrased the husband after arriving at Chandra Prakash Mishra's house.

They allegedly beat the victim with a stick for more than an hour. The victim, Chandra Prakash Mishra, kept pleading with his wife and her brother to not beat him. However, his plea fell on deaf ears.

The 35-year-old Chandra Prakash Mishra was rushed to the hospital after his condition deteriorated. However, he died during the treatment.

Police Takes Action

The family members of Chandra Prakash Mishra approached police. A case was filed and a total of five people were arrested by police in the case. Chandra Prakash Mishra's wife Chabi and her brother were also arrested. Police said that further investigation in the case is underway.
