'Saw Her Put Intestines Into Bag': Woman Kills Husband, Disembowels Him And Jumps Off Terrace In Panic As Landlord Catches Her In Kurukshetra

Kurukshetra: A shocking incident has come to light from Haryana's Kurukshetra. A woman allegedly killed her husband, took his guts out, and jumped off the terrace of their rented house in panic when the landlord walked in.

The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Rajesh. He worked as a water supplier and hailed from Uttar Pradesh, and the accused has been identified as Vimla Devi, according to an India Today report.

Landlord heard couple shouting

The incident took place near Raj Palace on Pehowa Road in a rented house. According to the landlord, he heard the couple shouting at around 5 pm.

Vimla was allegedly putting his intestines into a bag when the couple's landlord reached the terrace of the house. Rajesh was lying in a pool of blood with severe injuries to his abdomen. The landlord witnessed the gory visuals. On seeing the landlord, the woman reportedly panicked and jumped from the terrace. Vimla suffered injuries in the fall and was admitted to the hospital, where she is undergoing treatment. Police are attempting to record her statement.

Post-mortem reveals severe injuries

Rajesh's post-mortem report revealed his abdomen had been cut open to around 35 centimetres. The police have recovered three knives from the scene. The landlord has also alleged that Vimla used to practise exorcism and that she and Rajesh often had arguments.

Police reached the spot after being alerted. Three knives of different sizes were recovered from the crime scene. The scene was examined and forensic evidence was collected.

Motive yet to be ascertained

The actual motive behind the murder could not be ascertained immediately. Reports suggest that Vimla and Rajesh had been married for several years but did not have any children.

As part of their investigation, the police are trying to ascertain what kind of marital disputes they used to have and the circumstances leading to the murder.
