RJD 'Liquor Ban' Jibe At Nitish Kumar After JDU MLA's Dance Video On Holi Goes Viral (VIDEO)

Patna: A video of Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal United (JDU) MLA Aman Bhushan Hazari, dancing on a Hindi romantic song on Holi in Bihar's Darbhanga is making rounds on the internet.

In the video, the lawamaker from Bihar's Kusheshwar Asthan can be seen smeared with colours sitting on a chair, keeping his head down and putting his entire body rest on a table.

As soon as the song plays, another person, also smeared with colors, is seen putting his hand around the MLAs shoulders. Soon after which Hazari is seen lip-singing on the song and pulling the man towards him from his collar.

The JDU leader can then be seen tapping on the table matching to the beats of the song.

RJD Alleges MLA Drunk

The opposition, Rashtiya Janta Dal (RJD) has taken to micro-blogging website X to share the video and slammed CM Nitish Kumar's governance and the alleged violation of the liquor ban that's imposed in the state.

Accusing Bhushan of being drunk, RJD from its official X handle said, "Breaking news, paid media! If you still have a bit of integrity or courage, then show in the prime time today that these are the new promoters of Nitish Kumar's "Liquor Ban," his close ally, the honorable MLA Aman Bhushan Hajari, who is intoxicated on liquor! This is not the chaos of Holi; this is the pinnacle of good governance!"

Hitting out at Nitish Kumar further the RJD said, "Because of the arrogance of 'Kursi Kumar,' millions of poor people have spent countless years behind bars due to this liquor ban! For BJP and JD(U), the liquor ban is a scheme for illegal extortion!"

MLA Denies Being Drunk

According to Dainik Bhaskar, MLA Aman Bhushan Hazari has said that he was not drunk.

There is an official ban on sale of liquor in the state since 2016.
