Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav was addressing a press conference on Monday at the party office in Lucknow. During this, an incident occurred that even made Akhilesh Yadav burst into laughter. A video of the moment is now making rounds on the internet.
The video shows a young Samajwadi Party worker arriving at the press conference and narrating his problem in such a way that the entire hall erupts in laughter.
In the video, Yadav is seen on stage along with other party workers. A young man approaches the stage and cryingly claims the police are harassing him. When Yadav asks what the case against him is, the man responds, "Maine social media par likh diya tha, "Akhilesh bhaiya se jo saamna karega, rel diya jayega,'" which roughly translates to, "I had written on social media that whoever clashes with Akhilesh bhaiya will be thrashed."
On hearing this, along with Yadav, the entire hall bursts into laughter. Smiling, Yadav then responds holding his hand, "Don't be afraid. I will get you relief." The young man also says, "I've lost twenty thousand rupees as well." To this, Akhilesh, replies, "I'll get that back too."
