Rajasthan Police Bust ₹100 Crore MD Drug Factory Near Indo-Pak Border In Barmer; 2 Arrested, 10 Booked
The Rajasthan police, in collaboration with Narcotics Control Bureau Jodhpur, have busted an MD drugs factory near the Indo - Pak international border in Barmer. A huge amount of narcotics, chemicals, and equipment worth Rs 40 lakh have been seized from the factory. MD drugs worth Rs 100 crore can be made from the seized chemicals, the police said.

Jaipur: The Rajasthan police, in collaboration with Narcotics Control Bureau Jodhpur, have busted an MD drugs factory near the Indo - Pak international border in Barmer.
A huge amount of narcotics, chemicals, and equipment worth Rs 40 lakh have been seized from the factory. MD drugs worth Rs 100 crore can be made from the seized chemicals, the police said.
Massive Seizure of Chemicals and Equipment
“The police have seized around 39 kg of MD/NDPS mixed liquid, 290 kg of various chemical liquids (including chloroform, ammonia chloride, acid, tolvin, bromine, HCL, carbon), 5 kg of white powder, an electric fork, generator and two copies of a book telling the process of making MD drugs from the spot. The cost of the seized material is around ₹40 lakh, from which MD drugs worth ₹100 crore could have been made,” said Barmer SP Narendra Singh Meena.
Raid Conducted at Farm in Dholakia Village
The factory was running in Dholakia (Kartiya) village under Sedwa police station near the international border. Based on the information, the police team raided the farm of Mangilal Bishnoi, where the factory setup was found in a shed behind the house.
Two Arrested, One Escaped During Raid
The police nabbed Mangi Lal Vishnoi and Birju from the spot, while the third one, Ganpat Singh Rawana Rajput, managed to escape. Based on the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case against 10 persons, and teams have been sent to nab the rest of the accused.
