MP Pappu Yadav's Niece Among 4 Others Returning From Maha Kumbh Killed In Road Accident (VIDEO)

Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh: MP Pappu Yadav's niece Soni Yadav, was among four others who lost their lives in a road accident in Ghazipur on Thursday, February 20. As per media reports, Soni was returning from the Maha Kumbh with her aunt and other relatives when their car rammed into a parked trailer, near the Birno police station.

The accident occurred on Thursday night near the Varanasi-Gorakhpur highway. All those who lost their lives were reportedly residents of the Palasi area in Araria district, Bihar.

According to a report by ETV Bharat, the police stated that the victims were returning to Bihar from Prayagraj after taking a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh. Soni was accompanied by her aunt, an assistant, and a medical representative when the driver lost control and crashed into a parked trailer.

Preliminary reports confirmed the deceased as Soni Yadav, her aunt Gayatri Devi, driver Mohammed Salauddin, and medical representative Deepak Jha. The doctor's assistant, Vipin Shah, was also severely injured in the accident.

"The injured person has been shifted to a trauma centre in Varanasi. Victim's family members have been informed," a senior police official told ETV Bharat.
