Lucknow CBI Court Sentences Former Allahabad Bank Manager To 2 Years In Jail For ₹8,000 Bribery Case In Hamirpur
The Spl. Judge, CBI Court No. 01, Lucknow has sentenced accused Amrit Lal Verma, then Branch Manager, Allahabad Bank, Jharia Branch, Hamirpur to 2 years' Imprisonment with fine of Rs 20,000 in a case of bribery.

The Spl. Judge, CBI Court No. 01, Lucknow has sentenced accused Amrit Lal Verma, then Branch Manager, Allahabad Bank, Jharia Branch, Hamirpur to 2 years' Imprisonment with fine of Rs 20,000/- in a case of bribery.
CBI had registered the instant case on 22.05.2013 against Amrit Lal Verma, then Branch Manager, Allahabad Bank, Jaria Branch, Hamirpur on the basis of written complaint.
It was alleged that said accused had demanded an illegal gratification of Rs 12,000/- @4% of the KCC loan amount of Rs 3 lakh for disbursing the KCC loan in the name of complainant's father Ram Nath. CBI had laid a trap and accused was caught red handed while demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs 8,000/- from the complainant.
