Khunti (Jharkhand): Three children, including two brothers, allegedly drowned while taking a bath in a pond in Jharkhand's Khunti district, a senior police officer said on Friday.
The incident took place in Gafu Badka Toli village in Torpa police station area on Thursday evening, he said.
"The deceased include a six-year-old boy and two brothers aged 8 and 10 years. The bodies have been sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination," Torpa ASP Christopher Kerketta said.

"However, the exact cause of death could be ascertained only after analysing the autopsy report," he added.
According to locals, the three children did not go home straight after school and instead went to the pond to take a bath and drowned.
An unnatural death case has been registered and an investigation launched, he added.
