A young man from Jammu and Kashmir who had come to take a bath in the holy Ganga at Haridwar, narrowly escaped an accident because of the promptness of the disaster relief team on Friday. The drowning young man was rescued by the disaster relief team. A video of the rescue has surfaced.
The young man identified as Vishal, was swimming in the Ganga. During this time, he got stuck in the strong waves of the Ganga, after which he started drowning in the strong current. Fortunately, he caught hold of the chains near the Hathi Bridge. After this, the team of Haridwar Disaster Relief Team showed promptness and rescued him and Vishal was taken out of the Ganga safely.
