Gangster Goldy Brar, Sidhu Moosewala Murder Mastermind, Shot Dead In California By Rival Dalla Lakhbhir Gang: Report

Dreaded gangster and mastermind in Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case, Goldy Brar, was allegedly shot dead by rival gang members of Dalla Lakhbir gang, claimed News18 in a report. According to the report, Goldy Brar was shot dead in California. However, official confirmation is awaited.

According to preliminary reports, the gangster was shot dead at Hotel Fairmount in Calafornia, in the US. However, the intelligence agencies and security officials are tight-lipped about the incident and are yet to confirm the shootout.

It was long believed that the figitive gangster Goldy Brar was in Canada. He was also among Canada's 25 most wanted.

Goldy Brar's name cropped up as the mastermind in the killing of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala. The singer was allegedly killed on the instructions of Brar on May 29, 2022.

Though Goldy Brar's name was involved in a case involving fight between gangs in Punjab in 2012, at the time when he moved to Canada in the year 2019 to study on a student visa, he had no cases against him.

Goldy Brar gained prominence after his closeness to jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi came to the light. With Bishnoi in the jail, it was believed that Brar was the one running and coordinating on the activities of the gang from Canada. He had access to the vast network of shooters that the gang had and also used to use his clout for activities such as extortion and illegal arms supply, according to the officials.
