Virudhunagar: At least one dead and seven injured in after an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing factory near Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar district on Wednesday. A massive fire broke out following the explosion. Casualties are reportedly feared in the incident.
Senior officials rushed to the spot after getting information. A fire and rescue operation has been launched. In the video shared by local media, a huge envelope of black smoke engulfed the area. The factory is located in the Chinnavadi area.
