Like father like daughter: Bengaluru BJP MLA's daughter misbehaves with cops after jumping signal
The MLA's daughter was constantly arguing with the officer over traffic rule violation, in turn, the officer showed her the evidence and collected Rs 10,000 fine.
A video had surfaced online from Karnatak's Bengaluru earlier this year in June in which the daughter of BJP MLA Aravind Nimbavali is seen misbehaving with cops in the middle of the road.
She was stopped by the traffic police for jumping the signal in a BMW which she was driving. She also misbehaved with the local media for covering the issue.
The video of the incident had gone viral on social social media platforms in June this year.
The MLA's daughter, identified as Renuka Limbavali, was seen constantly arguing with the officer over traffic rule violation, in turn, the officer showed her the evidence and collected Rs 10,000 fine.
"I want to go now. Don't hold the car. You can't put a case on me for overtaking. This is MLA vehicle. We haven't driven rash. My father is Aravind Limbavali," she had said.
Intially, the girl said that she did not have any money but later one of her friends, who was in car with her, paid the fine and they were eventually let go.
"This was a case of rash driving, she (MLA Aravind Limbavali's daughter) was stopped by police. Her friend was driving the car, they paid a fine and went," said State Home Minister Araga Jnanendra.
Meanwhile, in another video that has gone viral on social media on Saturday (Ept 3), Renuka's father, Aravind Limbavali, BJP MLA, from Karnataka abused a Bengaluru woman and misbehaved with her when she tried to hand over a complaint letter to him regarding rainfall-related issues in the Varthur district.
In the video, the MLA is seen trying to snatch complaint paper from the woman multiple times and threatening her.
