Chaos unfolded at a government Sschool in Shahbazpur village under the Khizarsarai block of Bihar’s Gaya district after a teacher allegedly beat a Class 5 student, provoked a violent reaction from the child’s family.
A video of the incident has surfaced on social media and is quickly going viral. It shows a group of men chasing the teacher on school grounds and hitting him with sticks as he attempts to flee. The men and women can also be heard verbally abusing the teacher. The teacher can be seen pleading for mercy while the family members continue to assault him.
According to post initially shared by Live Hindustan on social media X, the teacher reportedly punished the student during school hours, the reason for which remains unclear. The child later informed his family about the incident. Angered by the assault, several family members, armed with sticks, stormed into the school premises shortly after. In the video the family allegedly chased and beat the teacher in full public view, creating panic among the bystanders.
