Bihar: RJD MLA Syed Rukuddin Ahmad Booked For 'Beating, Forcing JD Functionary To Drink Urine'

Patna: RJD MLA Syed Rukuddin Ahmad from Baisi in Purnea district has been booked for allegedly kidnapping a local JD (U) functionary Rehan Fazal, beating him and forcing him to drink urine.
Rehan, JD (U) block vice president, had been admitted to a hospital with plasters in his leg and arm. In his statement to police, he claimed that he was abducted by the MLA`s henchmen on Wednesday night and taken to his residence in Bairia village under Baisi police station limits. JD (U) leader alleged that he was locked in a room and beaten with iron rods, causing him leg and arm fractures. He claimed that he was forced to drink urine when he asked for water. He also claimed that even an attempt was made to stab him.
He said that his wife rushed to the spot after she came to know about the matter, alleging that she was misbehaved by MLA’s goons before she took him to the hospital. He alleged that he earned the wrath of RJD MLA for exposing his wrongdoings including grabbing land and preparing fake NREGA job cards. Ahmad is an AIMIM turncoat as he joined RJD in 2022.

Meanwhile, former district JD (U) president (minority cell) Shahid Raza claimed that close relatives of the RJD MLA had been listed as job card holders through illegal means, demanding justice for Fazal.
Officer-in-charge of Baisi police station Sanjit Kumar said that a case had been registered against the MLA, his brother and supporters after a complaint was lodged by Fazal in this connection.
Meanwhile, RJD MLA Ruknuddin refuted the allegations and accused JD (U) leaders of conspiring to tarnish his image.
