Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi Announce Pregnancy After 1.5 Years Of Marriage; Samantha, Rakul Preet Singh & Others Congratulate

Actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi announced that they are expecting their first child together after 1.5 years of marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in November 2023, took to Instagram on Tuesday (May 6) to announce the news of their pregnancy with their fans and followers.

Varun and Lavanya shared a picture in which they are seen holding hands. Their fingers are inserted into a tiny pair of white baby shoes, representing the expected arrival of a baby.

"Life’s most beautiful role yet - Coming soon," they captioned the post.

Soon after they made the announcement, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu commented, "Congratulations ♥️♥️♥️"

Ram Charan wife, Upasana Konidela wrote, "Best news. ❤️ sweetest parents to be."

Actors Rakul Preet Singh, Regena Cassandrra, Aditi Rao Hydari, Pragya Jaiswal, Sudheer Babu and others also congratulated the couple.

Varun and Lavanya tied the knot in the presence of their close friends and family members in November 2023 in Tuscany, Italy. Later, they hosted a grand reception in Hyderabad.

They had kicked off their pre-wedding festivities on October 30 in Italy with a cocktail party. It was followed by Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies on October 31.

The couple got engaged in June 2023 at Varun's plush Hyderabad residence.

The two actors first met on the sets of their film Mister and fell in love. However, they kept their relationship private and intimate. It only came out in the open to public knowledge, when the two got hitched on June 9, 2023.
