'That Is A Different...': Fan Praises Ranbir Kapoor's Work In Dhurandhar; Here's How Ramayana Actor Reacted

Ranbir Kapoor has started the promotions of Ramayana, and a couple of events took place in the US recently, in which the film's teaser was shown to the audience. A fan took to X (Twitter) to reveal that when he met Ranbir at the event, he quipped and praised him for his performance in Dhurandhar.

The fan tweeted a picture with Ranbir and wrote, "I told him I loved his work in Dhurandhar, and he started saying 'No that is a different Ranveer..' before @niteshtiwari22 cut him off and told him I was pulling his leg with the Dream11 ad (sic)." Check out the tweet below...

For the uninitiated, in one of the ads, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Aamir Khan jokingly calls Ranbir, 'Ranbir Singh'. The fan was using the reference of the advertisement when he met the Ramayana actor.

Meanwhile, the teaser of Ramayana featuring Ranbir will be out on April 2, 2026, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. The fans are excited to watch him as Lord Rama.

While there were reports that apart from Ranbir, we will also get a glimpse of Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravie Dubey, and Sunny Deol, there's no official confirmation about it. So, let's wait for the teaser, which will be out on Thursday.

Ramayana Release Date

Ramayana will be hitting the big screens in two parts. Part 1 will release on Diwali this year, and Part 2 is scheduled to hit the big screens on Diwali 2027.

At an event in the US, Ranbir revealed that initially he had rejected the film as he felt he wouldn't be able to do justice to the character. He said, "I remember when Namit offered me this part around 4 years ago, my instant reaction was 'no', I'm not fit enough, not good enough, and I won't be able to do full justice."
