Anjali Arora brutally trolled for 'copying' Deepika Padukone's Besharam Rang moves - watch video

Social media sensation and actress Anjali Arora recently shared a video in which she was seen grooving to Deepika Padukone's controversial Pathaan song Besharam Rang. In the video, she tries to copy the hook steps of the song. However, netizens were not quite impressed by her moves.

The Lock Upp contestant can be seen wearing blue skorts and a crop top. "Hame toh lut lia milke ishq walo ne," she captioned her post.

As soon as she shared the video, netizens trolled her for 'copying' Deepika Padukone. "Trying to copy," a user wrote along with laughing emoticons.

"Deepika wale feeling nhi aare costume missing," wrote another user.

A social media user wrote, "Jab dance nhi aa rha to Kyu kr rhi ho."

Besharam Rang controversy

The song sparked a huge outrage after the Deepika was seen donning a "saffron bikini" in one of the segments. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra called her outfit in the song "objectionable" and threatened makers to stall the film's release.

Several political leaders and Hindu organisations also claimed that the use of the saffron/orange colour in the song was aimed at insulting Hindutva.

MMS leak controversy

A few months back, Anjali made headlines after an MMS allegedly featuring her went viral on the internet.

The MMS that got leaked online reportedly features Anjali in objectionable disposition. However, her fans claimed that the video was morphed and as put out in a bid to defame Anjali. During an interaction with a media portal, Anjali was quizzed about the fiasco surrounding the MMS leak, but she replied, "We can skip this question I think".

Anjali's upcoming projects

Anjali is also rumoured to be a part of the upcoming season of 'Bigg Boss OTT'. While no official announcement has been made about her participation yet, she dropped a hint by saying, "You might see me on the show, might not. Fans ke liye kuch surprise toh rehna chahiye," piquing the interest of her fans.
