Malayalam TV anchor and popular actress Subi Suresh passed away on Wednesday. She was 41.
Subi Suresh was reportedly suffering from liver ailments and was undergoing treatment in Kochi. Subi was a well known name in the Malayalam entertainment industry. She had also worked in several movies as a comedian and as a character artist.

Subi's last Instagram post was uploaded by her team earlier today. The caption of her post read, "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. See you all again... Thanks ❤️❤️❤️ Posted by admin."
Actor-comedian Ramesh Pisharody told Asianet News that Subi was unwell for the last 15 days. They tried to get her a donor, however, it did not happen. "She was not well for the last 15 days. We had tried to get a donor but it did not happen. She was that lone woman warrior in the comedy field. She struggled for 20 years to take care of her family," he said.
On the other hand, comedian Harisree Ashokan said he was not aware about Subi's disease. He told Zee News, "I never knew about her disease and am now told that things turned from bad to worse in just two weeks. She was a bubbly personality and was known for her spontaneity. A great personality has now gone."
Subi's journey in entertainment industry
Subi started her career as a mimicry artist. However, she became a household name after her stint in the comedy show, 'Cinemala'.
The actress then appeared in several Malayalam movies too. She was seen playing comic roles in 'Happy Husbands', 'Kankanasimhasanam' and others.
