Plot

The film follows Sister Ann, a nun who is trained by Father Quinn after he recognises her unique gifts, particularly her empathy towards victims of demonic possession. Sister Ann learns that nuns are prohibited from performing exorcisms, making her the first female exorcist. When she is called to perform an exorcism on a young girl, she discovers that the girl is possessed by the same demon that tortured her mother a year prior. Will Sister Ann be able to complete the exorcism?
