Ranveer Allahbadia's inappropriate 'parents watching sex' remark on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent show has sparked controversy. After the backlash, director Imtiaz Ali reacted and stated that such mistakes shouldn't be taken seriously. He said, "Log immature hote hain, toh unki galti ko itna seriously nahi lena chahiye," adding that short-lived fame fades quickly.

Ranveer Allahbadia's inappropriate 'parents watching sex' remark during his appearance on comedian Samay Raina's India's Got Latent show has stirred controversy. Now, director Imtiaz Ali has reacted to Ranveer and Samay's Latent controversy, stating that their mistakes should not be taken seriously as they are 'immature.'
Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Imtiaz said, "Short way mein jo fame aata hai, woh short way mein chala bhi jata hai. Jisko jis cheez mein mazza aata hai, usko wahi cheez karni chahiye. Ashleelta ek aisa subject hai jo, obviously, koi bhi kahega ki yeh galat hai, lekin log immature hote hain, toh unki galti ko itna seriously nahi lena chahiye."

Meanwhile, the episode featuring Ranveer has been removed from YouTube. According to the reports, YouTube removed the video after receiving a notice from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.
All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has also demanded ban against India’s Got Latent. Taking to their official X account, the AICWA wrote: "The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) vehemently condemns the reprehensible and offensive remarks made on the YouTube show "India’s Got Latent," hosted by Samay Raina. In a recent episode, Ranveer Allahbadia, who participated in the show, unleashed abhorrent and vile statements that are deeply disrespectful to our societal and family values. Such disgraceful content is utterly unacceptable and poses a significant threat to the moral fabric of our society."
