‘I Am Very Happy With My Indian Movies’: Kareena Kapoor Khan Still Doesn’t Want To Do Hollywood Films
Kareena Kapoor Khan on Friday attended Waves 2025, and she was a part of a panel discussion with Karan Johar and Vijay Deverakonda. When Karan asked her about her famous statement on Koffee With Karan, ‘Sab bus pakad pakadke Hollywood jaa rahe hai’; Bebo quickly said "Main to yahi pe hu. I am very happy with my Indian movies and acting in them."

Kareena Kapoor Khan on Friday attended Waves 2025, and she was a part of a panel discussion with Karan Johar and Vijay Deverakonda. When Karan asked her about her famous statement on Koffee With Karan, ‘Sab bus pakad pakadke Hollywood jaa rahe hai’; Bebo quickly said that she is still very happy to be here and working in Indian movies.
The actress said, “Main to yahi pe hu. I am very happy with my Indian movies and acting in them. Bada mazaa aata hai humare Hindi film gaane pe dance karna. Bada mazaa aata hai Hindi dialogues bolna. Bhatinda ki Sikhni hu bhai; baar baar bolna achcha lagta hai (I enjoy a lot to dance on our Hindi songs. I enjoy mouthing Hindi dialogues. Bhatinda ki Sikhni hu; I like saying it again and again).”
When Karan told her, “Aap ne toh keh bhi diya hai ke aap apni favourite ho.” To this Kareena added, “I feel this line is very important. I think every girl and every woman should always say this line, ‘Main apni favourite ho’. I think that’s the best thing.”
Kareena On A London Taxi Driver Singing Her Grandfather’s Song
At the event, while talking about Indian films making a mark globally, the actress recollected that how a London taxi driver sang Mera Joota Hai Japani for her from her grandfather, Raj Kapoor’s movie Shree 420.

She also revealed that after the release of 3 Idiots, Steven Spielberg, at a restaurant came and asked her if she is the same girl from the film which was about three students. So, the actress stated that Indian films have always been making a mark globally.
