Harleen Sethi gushes, 'It was really lovely working with Sanjay Kapoor in The Gone Game Season 2.'

Harleen Sethi is currently seen in The Gone Game Season 2. Directed by Abhishek Sengupta, it premiered on Voot Select on July 7, 2022. The Free Press Journal caught up with the actress for an exclusive interaction.

Opening up about her role, Harleen shares, “I am playing a CBI Officer investigating the scam the Gujral family has done. It was an interesting part I had never done before. Now that it is out, I am getting a good response.”

Harleen reveals she enjoyed working with co-star Sanjay Kapoor. “It was really lovely working with Sanjay sir because he is a very witty, humorous and also very humble person who comes from the film fraternity. The amount of experience he has, he even tries to help you and is very supportive. He is very professional, and as a co-actor, he brings good energy on the sets. It’s a fun ride to know him as an actor and as a person,” she gushes.

The actress wasn’t a part of the show’s first season. When asked how she bagged the part in its second season, she explains, “I wasn’t there in season one. Like any other role I have got; I had to audition for the part. This happened last January. The process has been very long. We were shooting last June, and it has come out now in July. I loved season one, and when I was offered season two, I was excited as there is such a talented cast, crew and people.”

The actress has quite a handful of projects in her kitty. “Yes, there are a couple of them as thanks to two years of Covid, there was a lull period for all of us. I have done a lot in these few months after things got normal. I have done one show with the makers of Paatal Lok for an OTT platform. That should be out sometime next year. I cannot share about it at the moment. Then I have done a song in a film called Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan. It stars Taapsee Pannu and Pratik Gandhi. The film opens with this song. Another show should come out hopefully by the end of this year. Next year I shall be shooting a couple of things. The Test Case season 1 was done by Nimrat Kaur, who was playing a commando in it. In season two, you will see me. Also, there is another show that will go on the floors by the end of August. I can’t talk about it as it hasn’t been announced. Then there is a show with Milan Luthria sir, but it hasn’t been shot totally. The shoot will happen as there are many good actors so getting dates is a little difficult. It’s a show on a big scale, Sultan of Delhi. The shoot should happen in October or November,” she concludes.
