Bollywood actress Genelia D'Souza stepped out in the city on Thursday night, but while at it, she averted a major mishap while sitting in her car. The actress fumbled as her driver started driving the car before she could sit, and the incident left her fans concerned. A video of the incident has now gone viral.

In a video that has now gone viral, Genelia can be seen making the kids enter and get seated in the car first. She then proceeded to get inside the car herself, but as soon as she was about to step in, the driver started driving the vehicle. The actress almost lost her balance but she quickly regained her composure, and the driver too immediately halted the car.
Genelia was seen bidding goodbye to the paps politely before zooming off.
As the video went viral, netizens were left concerned and some opined that the driver needs to be more careful as it could have led to a major mishap. "Baal baal bachi," a user commented, while another wrote, "Driver should have checked".
On the work front, Genelia will be next seen on the silver screens in Aamir Khan's highly anticipated film, Sitaare Zameen Par, the trailer of which was unveiled by the makers a few days ago. On Thursday, Aamir and his team also dropped the first song from the film, titled 'Good For Nothing', and it has been characterised on the actor.
The film will release in theatres on June 20, 2025.
Apart from that, she will share screen with husband Riteish Deshmukh in Raja Shivaji, which is also being directed by him. The bilingual film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026.
