Ed Sheeran Gets Desi Champi On Streets Of Chennai Ahead Of Concert (VIDEO)
Global pop sensation Ed Sheeran is set to perform in Chennai on February 5 as part of his ongoing +-=÷× Tour (Mathematics Tour). Ahead of the concert, the singer got himself a quintessentially desi head massage, aka, 'champi', on the streets of Chennai. In a video, he looked equal bits of amused, bewildered and relaxed as he received the massage.

Global pop sensation Ed Sheeran is all set to perform in Chennai on February 5 as part of his ongoing +-=÷× Tour (Mathematics Tour). And ahead of the concert, the singer decided to get himself a quintessentially desi head massage, aka, 'champi', on the streets of Chennai.
Ed took to his Instagram handle and shared a hilarious video of himself getting champi from a local. As the man gave him a head massage, the singer looked equal bits of amused, bewildered and relaxed. "Ed getting a head massage in Chennai!," his team wrote, sharing the video.
As soon as the video went viral, netizens were left in splits over the singer's reaction and expressions. "Now we would know the reason if you forget lyrics," a netizen joked, while another wrote, "I think it's the revenge of all the guitars that Ed slapped during bloodstream."
"Bro we need Ed to perform tomorrow, pls be careful (sic)," a fan commented.
Ed kickstarted his six-city tour in India on January 30 with the first concert in Pune, followed by the second one in Hyderabad on Sunday.
He is set to perform in Chennai on Wednesday at the YMCA Grounds. He will be joined by singer Jonita Gandhi on the stage during the concert.
Post his Chennai gig, Ed will proceed to Bengaluru for his concert on February 8, and then to Shillong on February 12. The 'Perfect' singer will conclude his India Tour with the final concert on February 15 in Delhi, where he will be joined by singer Lisa Mishra on stage.
