Dipika Kakar Cries Inconsolably Over Trolling For Being A 'Home Cook' On Celebrity MasterChef (VIDEO)

Television actress Dipika Kakar, best known for her role as Simar in the hit show Sasural Simar Ka, is all set to participate in Celebrity MasterChef, which will soon air on Sony TV. A new promo was released on Monday, January 6, 2025, which shows Dipika breaking down in tears and crying inconsolably over trolling for being a 'home cook.'

The promo begins with Judge Ranveer Brar informing Dipika Kakar that she is short on time. Later, Judge Vikas Khanna asks her if she has "Plan B." She states that she will finish her dish on time. Later, the actress presents Creme Brulee Tart.

As Ranveer and Vikas taste the dish prepared by Dipika Kakar, Vikas gives his approval, calling it "Katal," which leaves the actress in tears. Farah Khan asks her, "Dipika, ro kyun rahe ho iitna?"

To this, she says, "Main aaj har uss lady ko represent karna chahti hoon jisse yeh kah kar dabaya jata hai, 'Arey, kitchen mein sirf khana hi toh bana rahi hai.' Haan, hoon mein ek home cook," she said, standing up for home cooks everywhere.

Contestants Archana Gautam and Usha Nadkarni were also seen getting emotional and wiping tears. Further, Farah Khan motivates her by saying, "Jo tujhe troll karte hain na, unhe mil gaya jawab."

Meanwhile, Celebrity MasterChef also features several prominent faces such as Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Abhijeet Sawant, Kabita Singh, Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia, Ayesha Jhulka, Archana Gautam, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr. Faisu, and Usha Nadkarni.

The premiere date of Celebrity MasterChef is yet to be announced.
