Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma's marriage is reportedly going through a rough patch. Speculations suggest that the couple may be heading for a divorce. In fact, they have also unfollowed each other on social media amid the reports of their separation.

While Chahal and Dhanashree have not reacted to the rumours yet, it has been said that they are heading for separation. Besides unfollowing each other on Instagram, they have also deleted some of their old pictures and videos together, reports mentioned.

The couple tied the knot at a private ceremony in December 2020 after dating each other during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dhanashree and Chahal's divorce is 'inevitable'

According to a report in Times Now, a source close to the couple said, "The divorce is inevitable, and it's only a matter of time before it becomes official. The exact reasons for their separation are not known yet, but it's clear that the couple has decided to move on with their lives separately."

Dhanashree, who participated in the 11th season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, had revealed how they met during one of the episodes of the dance reality show. "During the lockdown, cricketers were frustrated with no matches happening. One day, Yuzi decided he wanted to learn dance after seeing my videos. He approached me, and I agreed to teach him," she reportedly said.

Rumours of Chahal and Dhanashree's divorce began swirling in 2023 when the latter removed "Chahal" from her name on social media. The speculation gained further momentum after the cricketer shared a cryptic Instagram story that read, "New life loading," just a day before the name change.

However, at that time, Chahal had urged fans not to believe or spread baseless speculations about his relationship with Dhanashree. He stated that such rumours were untrue and requested privacy.
