Comedian Rajiv Thakur's Father Passes Away, Indore Show With Krushna Abhishek Postponed: 'Very Sad News For The Whole Fraternity'

Actor-comedian Rajiv Thakur’s father has passed away, leaving the comedian unable to attend a scheduled event in Indore with his The Kapil Sharma Show co-star Krushna Abhishek. Krushna, who had already reached the city for the performance, shared the news with fans and informed them about the change in plans.

Rajiv Thakur's Father Dies

In a video shared by the event management company, Krushna stood alongside the organiser and informed the audience about the unfortunate development. "I have just landed in Indore. And there is sad news that I want to share with you all. When we were taking off for Indore, Rajiv Thakur, who was supposed to be performing with me tomorrow in Indore, his father expired. So, this is very sad news for the whole fraternity,” Krushna said.

Krushna further asked people who had purchased tickets for the event to take note of the change in plans following Rajiv’s absence. The new date for the event has not yet been announced, and details regarding its rescheduling are awaited.

The caption read, "A Heartfelt Apology. With a heavy heart, we're truly sorry for the inconvenience caused to everyone who booked tickets for the event. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have decided to postpone the event. We will be refunding the full ticket amount to everyone who has booked their seats."

Meanwhile, Rajiv has not yet issued a statement or spoken publicly about his father’s death.

Over the years, Rajiv has also appeared in several films and projects, including Thug Life, Tara Mira, Zindagi Zindabaad, Kanjoos Majnu Kharchili Laila and IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack.
