Salman Khan 'unhappy' with tracks composed by 'Pushpa' fame Devi Sri Prasad for 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali': Report

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is known to feature catchy tracks in his films over the years, seems to live up to it for his upcoming project 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' as well.

Khan, who had joined hands with ‘Pushpa’ fame, Devi Sri Prasad to compose tracks for the film has now reportedly parted ways over creative differences.

As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, the actor and his team were unhappy about the tracks composed by the musician who rose to fame with songs like "Dhinka Chika", "Aa Ante Amalapuram", "Seeti Maar", and "Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava" to name a few.

“While they stood out independently, Salman felt that they didn't have the meat to fit into the film's narrative. Hence, the duo mutually decided to part ways and team up on something even bigger," a source informed the entertainment portal.

That being said, the film has roped in multiple composers to live up to his idea of delivering catchy numbers.

“He is clear on making it an event film, and doesn't want to compromise on any aspect, including the music," the source added.

Last month, Khan unveiled his first look from the film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Farhad Samji.

The film, reportedly billed as a comedy drama, also stars Pooja Hegde, Zaheer Iqbal, Raghav Juyal and Shehnaaz Gill.

The film will release on December 30, 2022.
