Photos: Aamir Khan makes a rare appearance amid new ad controversy

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan was spotted in Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon. The 'Laal Singh Chaddha' actor was seen wearing an off-white hoodie which he paired with cargo pants.

He wore a blue mask and his face was hardly visible in the pictures. He got papped as he got down from his car. Reportedly, Aamir visited his close friend Karim Hajee.

Aamir had reportedly jetted off to San Francisco for a holiday after the debacle of Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office. The film received a tepid response from the audience and the critics. It even bore the brunt of the boycott trends on Twitter.

The actor made headlines once again for his latest TVC for a bank with actress Kiara Advani. In the commercial, Aamir and Kiara are seen as a newlywed couple who shift to Kiara’s home after the wedding to take care of her ailing father.

The actor is then seen talking about modern changes to the age-old tradition and pitches that the bank too believes in evolving with time.

The ad hasn’t gone down well with a section of social media who have found it to be an insult to Hindu traditions.
