Netizens accuse Rajkummar Rao of getting chin implants

Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao has been crowned as one of the versatile stars of showbiz. It's been almost 12 years since Rajkummar Rao entered movies. With a filmography that boasts of brave choices, he has become one of the most prominent acting talents in the country. Throw any role at him and he will deliver a flawless performance every time.

Rao, who started his film journey with a cameo in 'Run', later bagged his debut with Dibakar Bannerjee in 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha' in 2010. Now, the FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) alumnus and National Film Award winner is being accused of plastic surgery to enhance his looks.

A thread on Reddit alleges that Rao got chin implants that make his jawline appear longer and sharper than before.

One user wrote, "It might be hazardous for a person shorter than Rao to hug him because that chin might impale the head of the person."

"He needs to stop with his chin fillers or reverse the chin implant. His face looks like a shovel," added another.

"Who got to Rajkumar Rao? Who convinced him that this was something he needed? Can’t believe he got insecure about his looks and screen presence, did this. He seems to pout a lot more these days with this new look. He’s conscious of highlighting this jawline in his photo shoots. This doesn’t make any difference to how I view him as a performer and entertainer. It’s sad he did it," wrote one user.

In an earlier interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rao revealed that he faced rejection for the way he looks.

He said, “I was told so many things. You are not tall enough, your build is not right, your eyebrows are not in a certain shape, and very weird things. And I was like what, what about acting? wo kisko chahiye."

Rao will be seen in films like 'Monica, O My Darling', 'Bheed', 'Mr. & Mrs. Mahi', and the biopic of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla. He also has Raj and DK's 'Gun and Gulaabs' with Dulquer Salmaan.
