The makers of Rani Mukerji's upcoming film 'Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway' dropped a new song on Wednesday, titled 'Maa Ke Dil Se'.
The song was released on the occasion of International Women's Day.
Post the song's launch, Rani stated that she dedicates the song to her mother, who has made numerous sacrifices for her over the years.

The song 'Maa Ke Dil Se' is picturised on Rani's character after she is separated from her children. The song depicts the grief of a mother when separated from her kids.
The heart wrenching number is sure to give the audience goosebumps, complete with the stellar visuals and Rani's powerful acting prowess.
The song has been sung by Javed Ali and Dipakshi Kalita, and the lyrics have been penned by Kausar Munir. It has been composed by Amit Trivedi.

Post the song's release, Rani stated that she was moved by the lyrics when she heard the song for the first time. "I could only think of my mother and my child and my journey from being a daughter to becoming a mother. The whole concept of the song is whether the mother gives birth to the child or the child gives birth to the mother," she said.
The actress went on to say that she is dedicating the song to her mother, who has made countless sacrifices for her over the years.
"It is truly special that this song is releasing on Women’s Day as my life as a woman changed completely after I became a mother. Motherhood is a glorious life force and an act of infinite positivity," she added.
