Fans disappointed
Soon after he posted the pictures on his official Instagram account, his fans and followers expressed disappointment over his new look.
"I was a big fan of yours.. seriously what you have done just disappointed me like hell!!!! … What you have done is wrong," a user commented.
Another fan wrote, "You need to get back to your basic Punjabi look.. this hipster look is for wannabe.. I am sure you are not a wannabe."
Look for new movie?
While some users failed to recognise him in the pictures, others said that it is his look from his upcoming film Chamkila.
"All these comments are so dumb, Punjabi people still living in 1920s. It’s for a movie, and he can do whatever he wants. His life not your, why do u care so much, worry about yourself," a user wrote.
