After Deepika Padukone, Arshad Warsi Joins The Cast Of Shah Rukh Khan Starrer King: Report

Shah Rukh Khan starrer King has been making it to the headlines for one reason, and that is casting. While the film is not yet officially announced, initially there were reports that apart from SRK, the movie also stars his daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Munjya fame actor Abhay Verma. However, for the past few weeks, once again, we are reading multiple reports about the casting of the film. Now, according to a report in Peeping Moon, Arshad Warsi has joined the cast of King.

Reportedly, the actor will be seen playing a pivotal role in the movie, and details about his character are kept under wraps. In 2005, Shah Rukh Khan had done a cameo in Arshad's Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye, but the two have not done a movie together in which they had full-fledged roles.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan was offered Munna Bhai MBBS, but he couldn't do it. So, if the superstar had featured in Rajkumar Hirani's directorial, he and Arshad would have been the original Munna and Circuit.

Deepika Padukone in King?

A few days ago, there were reports that Deepika Padukone has been roped in to do an extended cameo in the film. Reportedly, she will be seen as Suhana Khan's mother in the film, and SRK's ex-lover.

However, after this report came up, directed Siddharth Anand had posted on X, "False." Now, this tweet of Siddharth made netizens wonder whether he was denying the reports of Deepika starring in the movie.

King Release Date

King is undoubtedly one of the most awaited upcoming movies, and reportedly, it will hit the big screens in 2026. However, the exact release date is not yet announced.
