Actress Amrita Puri Buys Luxurious House In Mumbai's Lower Parel For ₹37 Crore

Actress Amrita Puri, along with her parents Aditya and Anita Puri, purchased a premium residential apartment in Mumbai's upscale Lower Parel locality. According to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards and verified on the Registration Department's website, the high-value transaction was officially registered in April 2025 at a total cost of Rs 37 crore.
The apartment is located in World One, part of the prestigious World Towers project developed by the Lodha Group. Spanning a built-up area of approximately 505.85 square metres (around 5,446.53 square feet), the luxurious unit also includes the right to four dedicated car parking spaces - standard in Mumbai's elite real estate purchases.
In addition to the purchase price, the family paid Rs 2.22 crore in stamp duty and Rs 30,000 in registration charges.
Lower Parel continues to be one of Mumbai's most sought-after residential hubs, known for its high-rise towers, luxury amenities, and proximity to key business districts such as Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Nariman Point.
The area is also home to several celebrities and public figures, including actors Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, author Amish Tripathi, and cricketer Zaheer Khan.
Amrita Puri, known for her performances in Aisha, Kai Po Che, and the popular series Four More Shots Please, has established herself as a versatile actress in both films and digital content. She is the daughter of Aditya Puri, the former MD of HDFC Bank and one of India's most respected banking leaders.
Amrita made her acting debut in 2010 with Aisha. The film also starred Sonam Kapoor, Anand Tiwari, Abhay Deol, Ira Dubey and others.
She was last seen in Vidya Balan and Ram Kapoor's film Neeyat. Amrita also played the role of a journalist in Anubhav Sinha's IC814: The Kandahar Hijack.
The actress has not announced any of her upcoming projects yet.
