Aamir Khan Delays Sitaare Zameen Par Trailer Launch Due To Pahalgam Terrorist Attack

There were reports that the trailer of Aamir Khan starrer Sitaare Zameen par will be launched this week. Reportedly, it was supposed to be attached with Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2. However, according to a report in Times Of India, the trailer launch has been delayed due to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The team made this decision as a gesture of respect for the lives lost.

Reportedly, the Sitaare Zameen Par trailer was supposed to be launched in a grand way this week. But, sources revealed, “Aamir Khan and his team felt it would be inappropriate to proceed with the launch at this time.” The new trailer release date will be announced once the situation becomes a bit better.

Aamir Khan Didn't Attend Andaz Apna Apna Re-Release Premiere

Aamir is affected a lot by the attack. A few days ago, the actor had even skipped the premiere of his movie Andaz Apna Apna which was re-released on Friday.

While talking about it, he had said, “I was reading reports about what happened at Pahalgam in Kashmir. I have been badly affected by the senseless killing of innocents. I was in no state to go (to the preview). I will see it sometime later this week."

Sitaare Zameen Par Release Date

Sitaare Zameen Par is slated to release on June 20, 2025. The fans of Aamir are quite excited about the movie as they will get to watch their favourite star on the big screens after a gap of three years.

Aamir's last release was Laal Singh Chaddha which was a flop at the box office. It also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role. Sitaare Zameen Par features Genelia Deshmukh as the female lead. The movie, which is directed by RS Prasanna, is a remake of Spanish film Champions.
