The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the UGC NET December 2024 session. Candidates can now submit their applications until 11:59 PM today, December 11, 2024, via the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
As per the updated notification, the deadline for fee payment has been extended to December 12, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The correction window for submitted applications will remain open from December 13 to December 14, 2024.
Key Points to Note:
Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
Steps to Apply for UGC NET December 2024:
1. Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
2. Click on the "UGC NET December 2024 Registration" link on the homepage.
3. Register yourself on the portal.
4. Log in to your account using the credentials.
5. Complete the application form and pay the required fee.
6. Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.
Application Fee:
-General/Unreserved: ₹1150
-General-EWS/OBC-NCL: ₹600
-SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: ₹325
Payment can be made via SBI, Canara, ICICI, or HDFC Bank, or using Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.

The UGC NET December 2024 examination is scheduled from January 1 to January 19, 2025, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The test will comprise two sections with multiple-choice questions, conducted without any breaks.
