TN Class 12 Supplementary Result 2025: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, is expected to announce the TN HSC +2 supplementary result 2025 soon. According to media reports, the DGE Tamil Nadu Class 12th marks memo is expected to be announced tomorrow, July 25, 2025. Once released, candidates will be able to check and download the TN class 12 supplementary result 2025 at dge.tn.gov.in.
In order to access the Tamil Nadu Class 12th Supplementary Result 2025, candidates will have to enter their registration number and date of birth on the portal.
Students who want to get a photocopy of their answer sheet for TN 12th Supplementary Exam 2025 can apply by going to the office of the concerned Assistant Director of District Government Examinations. The application window is available between 11 AM and 5 PM from July 28 to July 29, 2025. Candidates have to pay Rs 275 for each subject for registration. The date for downloading copies of the answer sheet will be notified later on the board's website. Candidates receiving the answer sheets will also be separately notified about the timing to apply for revaluation or re-sit.

Concerning the marks structure, theory-based subjects are marked out of 35 marks, and 15 marks must be obtained in theory to pass, while 35 marks must be obtained in aggregate. For practical subjects, the split is 70 marks for theory, 20 marks for practicals, and 10 marks for internal assessment. For such subjects, students are required to obtain at least 15 marks in theory and not less than 35 marks in total. While there is no passing mark on the practical component, there is compulsory attendance during practical exams.
The board also has a fixed grading system, where the students are given grades and grade points depending upon their marks. The grading standards are as follows:
-A1 for 91–100 (Grade Point: 10),
-A2 for 81–90 (9),
-B1 for 71–80 (8),
-B2 for 61–70 (7),
-C1 for 51–60 (6),
-C2 for 41–50 (5),
-D for 33–40 (4).
-Grades E1 (21–32) and E2 (20 & below) are not assigned any grade point and signify failure.
