QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026 have been released, with Oxford Said Business School retaining the top spot. HEC Paris ranks second, while MIT Sloan rises to third. The list features 215 programmes across 55 countries.

London: Global higher education analytics firm QS Quacquarelli Symonds has released the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2026, offering a detailed look at the world’s top executive MBA programmes.
The latest edition ranks 215 Executive MBA (EMBA) programmes across 55 countries and territories, along with 31 joint EMBA programmes. The rankings highlight continued dominance by leading institutions in the US and Europe, while Asia-Pacific schools also show steady presence in the global list.
Oxford Said Business School Holds Top Spot, HEC Paris Follows
At the top of the global table, Oxford (Said Business School) has retained its position as the world’s No. 1 Executive MBA provider. It is followed once again by HEC Paris, which holds steady at second place.
The biggest movement in the top tier comes from MIT Sloan School of Management, which has climbed to third place, pushing IESE Business School down to fourth.
Meanwhile, London Business School, which was previously ranked fifth, has slipped to seventh position this year.
US Schools Gain Ground in Top 10
The United States continues to show strong performance in executive education, with multiple schools featuring in the top 10.
Northwestern (Kellogg) moved up from eighth to joint fifth
Yale School of Management also shares the fifth position, rising from sixth
University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) remains steady at eighth
These movements underline growing competition among US business schools in executive leadership programmes.

QS President Nunzio Quacquarelli said Executive MBA programmes continue to remain one of the most valuable career investments for mid-career professionals.
He highlighted that salary growth, leadership development and strong peer networks make EMBA programmes highly attractive. He also noted that companies increasingly benefit from sponsoring employees due to improved retention and leadership pipeline development.
Quacquarelli further added that global business education is now more focused on agility and cross-cultural competence, with top schools placing greater emphasis on diverse cohorts and international exposure.
