SBI PO Prelims 2025 Exam Date: The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment exam dates for the SBI PO Prelims 2025 exam. The SBI PO Prelims exam is scheduled to be held on March 8, 16 and 24, 2025. Candidates who have registered for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) can check and download the notification at sbi.co.in.
Initially, the bank has announced that the SBI PO prelims admit card is expected to be announced in the third or fourth week of February 2025. The SBI PO main is likely to be conducted in April or May 2025. However, the exact date and time are yet to be announced by the bank. According to the notification, the SBI PO call letters will be issued shortly.
This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 600 Probationary Officers in the organisation. This comprises 14 backlog openings and 586 regular positions.

SBI PO Prelims 2025 Exam Pattern
The SBI Clerk Preliminary exam will have objective-type questions. There will be a total of 100 marks and candidates will get one hour to attempt the question paper.
The test will have three sections including:
- English Language (30 marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude (35 marks)
- Reasoning (35 marks)
Candidates will have 20 minutes to answer each section, with one mark for each question. A one-fourth mark penalty for each wrong answer will be implemented.
What's Next?
Candidates who pass the prelims exam will be called for the next stage which is the main exam. The SBI PO mains exam is expected to take place in April or May 2025. The main exam will be held in two parts including objective and descriptive.
