Orchids The International School students participated in the Techradiance Robotics Championship at IIT Delhi on March 29-30, 2025, showcasing their skills in soccer and line follower competitions and emphasising experiential STEM learning.

Orchids The International School: Students from Orchids The International School had taken part in the Techradiance Robotics Championship held at the IIT Delhi campus during March 29-30, 2025. The total of 18 teams from Delhi, Gurgaon, and Haryana branches of Orchids had demonstrated their strength in Soccer as well as Line Follower competition.
In the championship students were asked to design, build, and program soccer-playing robots and line-following robots, tapping creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities in STEM education.
"At Orchids, we focus on experiential learning, and events such as Techradiance offer the ideal platform for our students to translate theoretical knowledge into practical problems," said Jimmy Ahuja, Head of STEM at Orchids The International School, while referring to the school's participation.

"They learn resilience, collaboration, and strategic thinking along with enhancing their technical skills by designing, coding, and refining a robot for a competitive setting. Students utilize robotics parts such as different motor drivers and infrared sensors to prepare for competition. They also build their chassis based on the design and technology concepts they have learned in class. It is truly inspiring to observe how eagerly young minds innovate, compete, and collaborate," he further added.
Orchids Sonipat campus students won 2nd Runner Up in the competition.
Orchids The International School encourages STEM education through experiential learning and national and international competitions. STEM education of the school includes coding, robotics, DIY, and project-based learning that helps to foster the curiosity for science, problem-solving ability, and innovation in students.
