NEET PG 2025 exam: The NEET PG 2025 exam, which was originally set for June 15, has been postponed by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The last-minute decision comes after the Supreme Court directed that the test be held in a single shift rather than multiple sessions.
In a notice issued on June 2, NBEMS said the new exam date would be announced soon. The board cited logistical challenges — particularly the need to arrange additional test centres — as the reason for the delay.
This change in format marks a significant shift in how the crucial entrance test is conducted. NEET PG is the gateway for thousands of MBBS graduates aiming for postgraduate seats in MD, MS, and diploma courses across the country.

Admissions counselling will take place following the exam. Half of the seats under the All India Quota will be administered by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), with the other seats being administered by state authorities.
For additional information, students are advised to visit the official NBE website and be ready appropriately.
